During this comprehensive three-day InDesign course, you will learn how to get the most out of the world’s leading page layout program, applying best practices and work-flows, avoiding costly mistakes and getting it right the first time. At the completion of the course, you'll master the following tasks:

  • create documents from scratch, from templates, or edit and enhance documents others have created,
  • control page elements like text, photos, and artwork — and create state-of-the-art page layout,
  • output files for trouble-free printing and online publishing.

This beginner’s class is also well suited if you have some experience with InDesign. You’ll get a full update on new features, brush-up on tools and work-flows, and learn how to apply professional working techniques.

This is a BYOC class: Students must bring their own computer (Mac or PC) running InDesign CC.

If you don’t own a Creative Cloud license, you can buy a subscription at Adobe.com, or download the free trial version. We will be more than glad to help you with download, installation and set-up instructions ahead of the course.

Please note: This course is offered on a first come first serve basis, and space is limited!

  • Get familiar with the user interface, tools and workspaces, and learn important terms related to page layout and print production
  • Understand page elements, create, scale and move objects, work with layers and groups
  • Work with pages and master pages, utilize elements like headers, footers and page numbering
